Understanding the animation events

Though the animation looks complex, it is fairly simple in its construction. To make it easy for you to follow, we recreated the animation with 4 colored boxes. Here is the reconstructed animation with boxes.

Here is a snapshot of the animation that happens to the box:

  1. ‘Fly in’ Entrance effect
  2. Grow/ Shrink effect where the box grows to 190%. The box moves to the centre ‘with previous’ effect
  3. Grow/ Shrink effect where the box shrinks to 52%. The box moves to the edge ‘with previous’ effect
  4. ‘Fly out’ exit effect

Once you apply the sequence of animation to one box, you can make duplicates of the box and stack them up one over the other.

Understanding the start positions

There is a small trick we employ to make the carousel movement seamless. While one box shrinks to its original size and gets ready to leave we ensure that the next box enters the scene. So, there is a constant loop of boxes entering and exiting continuously.

Here is a screenshot of the animation pane. Since the boxes are named according to their colors, you can follow the sequence of events easily. We have included a commentary of the events to help you understand the sequence even better.

You can play with the sequence to suit your need. You can fill shape with pictures of your choice. You can add as many photos as the situation demands.

Thus, by combining multiple animation events you can create a lot of interesting animated slideshows for your business presentations.
