You can use these tables in your product brochures or sales pitch books. Let us learn to create these tables in a step by step way.

Step 1: Create the basic chart

Go to ‘Insert’ tab in PowerPoint ribbon and click on the ‘Table’ option. Insert it with the dimensions you need. Go to ‘Design’ tab and choose a style you like. We chose a basic style in the following example:

Unfortunately there is no direct option available in PowerPoint to convert this stiff looking table into a cool looking table with rounded corners. So, we need to do a bit of workaround to get there.

Step 2: Break the table down

Click on the table and ‘Cut’ it. Go to ‘Paste’ tab and choose Paste special -> Picture (Windows Metafile). Once done, right click on the picture and ungroup twice. This will break the grouped items down to its individual components.

Step 3: Change the shape of the cells

The final step is to change the shape of the cells in the table. Since each of the cells is an auto shape, you can select the rectangles and go to Format -> Edit shape -> Change shape -> Oval or Diamond to suit your needs. The result will be as follows:
